My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Oh yes, we heard the screaming goats…very vocal animals. The turkeys had a lot to say too.
I’m feeling much better, thanks! It was terrible how it hit me all of a sudden. I started feeling a bit funky on Friday but I didn’t think much of it. It was a long week, so my body just had a meltdown.
When I am at Heritage Park and the Botanical Gardens, the Petting Farm is on the campus and the screaming goats are in earshot and they are loud. Well, I’m glad you are feeling better now Esther. Can you just zoom to 2025 and forget 2024 existed?

Beautiful photography. Nice goats & chiken eating food. Nice collection. I hope you feeling better, Esther!
These animals are fun and friendly! I heard the sheep are skittish, but that’s their nature. We worked with lambs in the spring, and we could barely get close to them in the beginning. Thank you , Raj, for your kind words. I’m feeling much better now.

A nice collection of critters you have here Esther! Did the goat do any screaming noises? Hope you are feeling better!
