Hi all, this week had been hectic with appointments, homeschooling, pre planning for Elliot’s transition to high school in the fall, being Ellis’ sous chef as she learns how to bake brownies (multiple times with mixed results) for her 4-H Favorite Food project, and a panic attack for myself. So that’s why I haven’t posted much lately.
I will be back in a few days! And I apologize I haven’t been able to read posts too.
Miss you all. Have a healthy, safe, and happy weekend. ~Esther

Thank you for checking in, Esther!
Don’t worry about social media when there is so much going on, Esther!
Thank you! I was so happy to read your comment in calming my mind that I could take a rest from blogging. Sometimes I pressure myself to keep up but it gets too much when life gets overwhelming.
♥️🤗💚🙏🤗
Thank you!
Busy and healthy is good. Enjoy it!
Yes…as long as I pace myself and give time for rest! I hope you are doing well.
We tried making brownies again this afternoon 🤞 “3rd times a charm”!?!
How did it go? We made our 6th batch of brownies and it was finally the winner. It took so many tries to get it just right. Ellis will present it at the Favorite Foods Day on March 3rd and we were feeling pressured to get the texture right. And why oh why did we choose a gluten free one?!
You take care Esther, you should do what is best for you and take the time you need.
Thank you, Leanne! It was overwhelming and hectic.
Pace yourself – it is the weekend, no school … hopefully not raining and you can get outside.
It was a slow weekend to catch up on things! It’s raining now and the slowness is much appreciated. Elliot woke up with a sore throat and has a mild fever, so this is going to be another slow week!
Well, I hope it’s not the flu which is bad all over the U.S. – here, the E.R.s are flooded with flu cases. Hope Elliott is feeling better soon and Ellis doesn’t catch that bug.
He’s finally on the mend but coughing up a storm…he’s got swampy lungs it seems from the sound of his coughs. We’ve been using the nebulizer for the past 2 days. Hope this helps and really praying that Ellis stays healthy! Her respiratory system surprised me.
Please stay well!
I’m sorry to here that – hopefully it doesn’t turn into pneumonia like last time and a trip to the hospital. Let’s keep everyone home in 2025! Great that Ellis is staying clear of respiratory ailments – there are a ton of them around. They said this is the worst flu outbreak in 15 years. Everything is supersized these days – flu, the rain, earthquakes in California. Yikes!
