What is Dreamsycle Teddy studying today?
We did! Teddy was a champ although he was a wiggling and anxious bunny, He got nervous and peed on our friend though. lol
Teddy was just hanging out on the desk to sniff around for treats. He’s on perpetual spring break. I love your nickname for him.

Glad you like the nickname: a Dreamsycle is orange on the outside filled with sweet ice milk on the inside.
Dreamsycle Teddy and I are a lot alike. While he’s on “Perpetual Spring Break” I’m “Always On Vacay”.
I thought maybe Dreamsycle Teddy was studying human behavior while sniffing for possible treats.

Teddy was not too comfortable on the desk as his paws were sliding on the slippery wood, but he still managed to pose for a picture. He’s been peeing on us when we hold him. Yep, he’s either excited or terrified.

I think Dreamsycle Teddy is accidentally peeing when being held from stress. Do not scream, or speak harshly to him when this happens. Especially do not punish him for stress accidents. Being handled is all very scary to a tiny 3 lbs critter. Know this will happen. Allow time to learn to trust each other. It will not take very long for Dreamsycle Teddy to become comfortable with humans holding him.❣️
PS You could use a pet potty pad to cover your lap as you have the blanket until the stress period is over. It would make things easier for clean up for you.
Oh yes, we don’t punish or raise our voice when he has accidents. It’s likely that he’s stressed.
One thing we’ve noticed when he’s out of the cage hopping around a bit or is on our lap, he’ll rapidly dig. That’s a sign that something will come out on the opposite end. We got diapers and we put that on our laps when we practice handling him. Saved us many times.
A very pleasant diversion from study hall lessons. 🙂
