How fun! Where did you get the photo taken?
Yes, it’s a fun theme but getting there was a total pain. We had a long weekend and no one wanted to go that afternoon, so I had to bring out the drill sergeant in me and drag everyone there.
I won a contest for a portrait and this was the theme they offered. The kids are a bit old for it, but it was free and it’d make for a great memory. We could get one free picture…it’s not canvas but a thicker material and they add the lights to the bugs and things in the scene. You could buy other photos, digitally and in print, but that was costing up to $500.
The way back home was packed with back to back traffic and with all the stress that it took to take the grumpy kids and claustrophobia from the traffic, I had a panic attack right there in the passenger seat.
The smiles hide a lot of tension!
Very nice family photo!
Thank you, Liz! I won an Instagram contest for a free portrait with this fairyland theme in July. It was for the kids, but the photographer asked me and Chris to jump in for the last photo since we were wearing the same color clothes. So out of the free photo one, we picked the family.
I’m glad you like it. Thank you!
You’re welcome!
What a great photo.
Thank you so much! It’s a whimsical looking background. I won a contest for this portrait.
