My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

I’ve never had Matcha but I do like green tea, so I’d probably like it! Good for Ellis, now for some of Ellis’ brownies to eat with that healthful tea.
I think matcha is a type of green tea but it’s a powder form. It’s highly popular these days and there’s matcha flavored this and that at stores these days. I wanted to try it at home and have the experience of whisking the powder, which Ellis took over quickly. She enjoys whisking and mixing…
Oh yes, that would be tasty to have with the drink. Elliot added some chocolate syrup to the matcha and that was surprisingly good.
I think I have seen it in the grocery store, but not sure where – maybe with the coffee and tea aisle? I tried Elderberry Green Tea by Bigelow – I love it and it has 100% daily Vitamin C in it. So good to have on hand in the Winter months. I used to take a separate Vitamin C tablet, in addition to One-a-Day vitamins, but stopped as too much Vitamin C is not good for the kidneys, but it tastes wonderful at any rate. It took me years to like green tea and now it is a daily drink for me.
Wow! Looks amazing! Great job barista! I love your cups!! Are they from Anthropologie?
Thank you! I wanted to try making it at home. Ellis gets a kick out of making these kinds of drinks. She drizzled chocolate syrup in my coffee or sometimes uses a frothy thing.
The cups look Anthropologie, but they are actually from Costco!! I got them in February. It’s still on the website called Pandex glass cups, but it’s more expensive than at the warehouse. I got it for $25 and it was recently on sale for $20 at the warehouse.
I have flat hair, so I tried Botanist shampoo and conditioner at Costco and it works great. The smell is amazing. It’s on sale right now too. Love Costco deals!
Sounds like I need to go to Costco!
That looks complicated, I’ve never used it.
I’d never heard of matcha. I’m not fond of green tea, so it probably wouldn’t suit me, but the process of making it looks fun.
