My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
He gets nervous and his ears pull back! It doesn’t seem to make his eyes get any better. So we are hoping that finishing this medicine regiment will help it in July.
The medicine probably doesn’t taste good – I wonder if they can flavor it like they do for kids? I keep Teddy and your parents in my prayers every day along with your family.

Well, at least you don’t have to jam a pill down his throat.
That would have been challenging! I might even have had chomp bite if it were pills.
Hope he stays nice and healthy!
Thank you! He doesn’t seem to enjoy the nightly medicine taking. A good thing is that he’s still active and pining for lots of petting.
Teddy does not look happy about his daily dewormer medicine. Poor guy. Hope his eye meds are helping him too.

Why does he need it every day? Poor guy.
He has a parasite and that’s what is causing his glaucoma. He has about 22 more days to go. Hopefully, the cloudiness in his eyes will improve.
