Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
So sorry! I hope she has a full and speedy recovery.

Thank you Cindy for your kind message! The vomiting cycle took longer to break this time from the previous episode but the retching was the worst part. Whew, we’re out of the cycle now and going to take a vigilant approach to identifying the triggers and nipping it in the bud when the cycle is about to start.
It’s nice missing you Cinday and thank you for the follow! I will check out your blog soon too. Have a great evening. 🙂

Thank goodness for getting Ellis well and home – originally you thought it would be Sunday. Whew! Tomorrow’s a school holiday – everybody REST.

Happy to be home! It’s been a rough few days and I wouldn’t be surprised if the after-stress leads to more hair thinning. eeek, and it was improving with vitamins and consistent use of anti-hair loss products. If it improved once I’m sure it’ll improve again. lol
Thanks Linda for your sweet message. 🙂

I hope that is it for awhile Esther. I know you were taking the vitamins, one large one a week you said, but sure enough that could cause more thinning from the stress. It is a Catch-22. Was Chris the teacher in your absence?

Sorry to hear Ellis had vomiting and had to be in the hospital. I hope she’s discharged by now and feeling better.

Cyclic vomiting is what it sounds like… constant vomiting and retching. Hard to see a little person hurting like that. What a rough couple of days. Thank goodness for hospitals, medicines, doctors, nurses, friends, family, and God who blesses us even in that kind of mess.

It must have been a tough two days for you also to see your daughter hurting so much. Thank God for all the prayers and support you’ve had.

It wasn’t pleasant at all. It was actually 3 1/2 days of it and I got scared I’d get sick too. Not good for caretaking.
Yes, God was in the mess and helping us through it! Thankful.
Have a great weekend and stay well.

I remember there were many times I wish I could take over the illness for my daughter.

I’m learning a lot about love and (in my tiny way) getting a glimpse of how God feels about His children. Thank goodness HIs love is perfect and unconditional.

That was how I learned about God’s love also. Sometimes he let us suffer but strengthen our faith.
