That’s funny -how nice to be photogenic in the hospital. 🙂 Yes, the onesie was hilarious and you thought your onesie days were over when your kids grew out of theirs. More sterile than a gown I’ll bet.
The color combo just worked out like that! Actually, teal is Ellis’ favorite color and the only dinosaur mask she will wear, out of like fifty we bought in different colors a few years back. They finally fit her and if you remember, Elliot can only wear cloth masks due to reaction from synthetic material on his face. Boy, do I have high maintenance children?!
Yep, the onesie was tricky to put on but comfortable while I wore it. It’s for sterile reasons. Great idea for parents to wear them while accompanying their child to the OR.
I do remember Elliot being allergic to the regular paper masks. I never leave the house unmasked and originally was in the fabric masks, but switched to the N-95 when I am going to public places like stores, bank, etc. and just the paper masks for going to the Park. I have actually been doubling up on paper masks at the Park or other parks since Thanksgiving and the rise in Covid, RSV and Flu cases. Always something to worry about. That is a good idea – I guess they used a gown before when you went to the OR with Ellis? I saw the drawer with the label “bunny suits”. 🙂

Glad you girls fared well today – I read this post this morning, but read your last post first to get the scoop. Tomorrow home and a relaxing day for the entire family. School is taking a “hit” but it’s still Christmas break.
Tell me about it! School is kind of the back burner for now. We’ll have to keep the lessons up through the summer. lol
We actually fared very well yesterday and no nausea from the anesthesia. She ate a full meal for dinner and breakfast this morning. This was so much better than the cyclic vomiting episodes.
I am glad it worked out so well for you Esther – your family deserves a break. How is Elliot – is he feeling like himself again too? You can catch up on school later when things are less hectic.
Next week we’ll get back to schooling! Lessons resume next week, tentatively.
This coming week: eye appointment for Elliot, video appt. with the GI and echo appointment for Ellis. Wow! We gotta get take out…can’t cook with all that going on.
“You deserve a break today” like the MacDonald’s commercial says. That’s a lot going on … for me, I have allergy shots and going to do some grocery shopping, get gas and I’d like to go to the Park if I can sneak that in as well. My boss has been in Hawaii for three weeks, returning home on Wednesday, so told him I might be a little later. I’m caught up on my work for now, but waiting on a client for something. We have a second, more impactful snow storm coming next weekend they say – yikes, now the real Winter kicks in after a very mild November and December.
