Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and well wishes!!
My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and well wishes!!

You’re welcome, Esther.
I am so…..so glad my dear friend, you sharing New good News! Elliot surgery went well & go home. So struggling you & your family going 9 year! Now not need supplemental feeding or compound medication dispensed through gives. Thanks God!Thank God for fresh starts and new beginnings!
God blessing 🙏
Raj, this is the start of new beginnings!! It’s bittersweet…it helped us so much but gave us so much issues too. That part of her life is behind us! Wow. God is good.to have carried us through that journey. It started with the tube in her nose to her tube in her stomach. Whew…
Thanks, Eshter I know It started with the tube in her nose to her tube in her stomach. I can read & see her pic when I start you follow & read your blog post. Elliot is dry coughing you give her turmeric milk!
Oh right…you can see the pics from my earlier posts! Thanks for keeping up with my posts and for all your lovely comments and encouragements. So happy to have a reader like you.
Turmeric milk? He’s very picky and has a sensitive taste bud…I doubt he’ll try it. I just got him to try romaine lettuce. Finally, some vegetable11
Thanks, Eshter! You made home it! You make milk & add turmeric 5 minute warm after cool 5 minute after use it’s use.
Glad everything went well Esther – too bad Ellis’ surgery started later as you might have gone home. Glad you’ll be home for the weekend and hope Elliot is doing better as well. {{{ Hugs }}}
We were secretly hoping for discharge on the same day, but the doctor said her heart needs monitoring afterwards and they had to check the incision site. She did fine though! I
Elliot is dry coughing but in better spirits. Ellis ordered him Gatorade and chocolate pudding, from the hospital; she loves to bring him some yummy treats from the menu. It’s kind of hilarious! It used to be Jello when they were younger.
I was thinking it was because the doctor had a prior surgery. That makes sense and better to be safe than sorry on the heart monitoring and then you have to return. Well that’s done – disregard the portion of my last comment when I asked about Elliot. Glad he has perked up too. That is funny … it is good to have a loving sibling.
Elliot has been coughing up a storm this weekend and it’s actually hurting our ears!!
It’s a good weekend with everyone on the mend, but Ellis having soreness issues with her back and surgery site and Elliot’s coughing are wearing me down. My smile is turning into a frown!! lol
You deserve a medal for Mom of the Year, that’s for sure Esther!
Huzzah! Here’s to a new year of fresh starts!
You said it perfectly!! “Huzzah!” Thank you, Launa!
That is great news! Thanking God for such a huge step forward. 😊
Sending prayers and love to you all.
Thank you, Cindy!!
Wonderful news! Congratulations Ellis!
Thank you!! 🙂
So glad everything went well and she can finally come home! Wishing her a speedy recovery 😊
Thank you, Pooja!! We are home and she is on the mend. So happy this part of her medical journey is behind us.
I’m so glad to hear that!
Happy to see her smiling face
✌🏻
Finally! She was feeling nervous and got tearful before the procedure and after she woke up from anesthesia. Once the doctor explained how I’m supposed to cut the vessel loop from her incision next week, she was all tears again. But we smile through it…nothing else to do. Can’t cry the whole time!
Glad to know that
Take care 💗
