So focused!
Yes, she was determined to keep her lines straight and not burn her fingers! It’s her new hobby and she’s making glasses for out little stuffies.
Very nice doing it’s pen creation.
Very creative – I remember a few years ago Ellis was drawing or painting on glass. She is expanding her horizons since she turned double digits!
Lovely!
Thank you! It’s her new hobby these days.
Nothing like the joy of craft work! Lovely to see her so lost in the moment! Annika
Thank you, Annika! She’s been working on it everyday and seems to enjoy her crafting very much. Hopefully, she’ll learn how to crochet soon, which is a craft that she’s been wanting to learn for a while.
I’m sure she will enjoy the crochet too! My grandmother was gifted in making things with crochet, knitting etc and tried to teach me – I really tried but my skill was sadly lacking!
She will start learning crochet soon from a friend. Maybe having a peer her age teach her will be better and easier for her than learning through a book or Youtube. I tried learning and teaching together, and we both got too frustrated to continue.
It’s so lovely when people can make beautiful crafts that you can wear, use, or gift! I feel your pain.
I’m so thrilled that Ellis and you are learning to crochet! I learned to crochet in my early twenties and I’m so old now that I can’t even remember how I learned to crochet! But I loved it!! My favorite was making an afghan blanket that I enjoyed for years. My mom didn’t do these types of activities. But my grandma did. I know that I didn’t learn from my grandma because she live to far away in another state. I most likely learned from my employer as I worked in needle art stores throughout my high school and university years. I think person to person, a teacher is the best way to learn this skill. I’m happy that you have an interest in it! ❤️
Oh fun! We used to have a 3D pen, I’d forgotten about it! They are cool.
They are fun to use, and you can make a bunch of cute things with them. It involves serious hand-eye coordination.
We made some accessories for Calico critters with the 3D pen. I can’t remember exactly what.
OMG, that is too cute!! When you have time and if you still have the accessory, could you post it?
We could get some ideas for our Calico Critter’s houses.
How is she doing??
