No pneumonia but cyclic vomiting again.

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
No pneumonia but cyclic vomiting again.

Sorry to hear Ellis is in the hospital again … she was doing so well not coming down with pneumonia. Good luck to both of you Esther.
No pneumonia! We were all puzzled that she didn’t have pneumonia since she was exposed to it for 2 weeks.
Very odd, but then who was the least sick of the Suh family when COVID struck?
Odd, indeed! We were telling ourselves not to freak out and remembering that she fared the best with covid. But cyclic vomiting is another story.
Yes, the exception to the rule sometimes is in your favor, other times not. Let’s hope this is the last bout of cyclic vomiting this year and you have a peaceful Autumn (and can start school which I know everyone is anxious to do).
We are slowly getting into the school groove! If there is anything that the hospital experience has taught me, it’s that I need to take it slow and be okay with that. Thank you for always cheerleading us!
Well, school will put “normal” into your family equation in a hurry won’t it?! I’m happy to be your cheerleader 2,400 miles away. 🙂
I hear your cheering here!! Thank you. It’s glorious to be back into the normal routine of school and just having uneventful days. We had a little scare today with Ellis feeling sick and doing one vomit, but I gave her the migraine medication and that seemed to help. We were all quiet at home again in silent panic that this was another trip to the er.
Well I hope it was one episode and done – yikes! I can imagine how the whole family will go into panic mode as soon as that happens.
Oh dear! I feel exhausted for you. I can’t even imagine.
Ack! It was crazy. But adrenaline and the coffee rush kick in…thankfully, which keep me going. At the first hospital where we got the first chest x-ray and abdomen ultrasound, we stopped by the coffee kiosk right by the exit door. I asked for the strongest coffee…girl, it was too strong and even though I was beyond exhausted, I couldn’t fall asleep till well past 3 a.m.
Luckily, my sister, you don’t have to rely on your own strength. You and your family are in His hands 🙌
Amen! Reassurance that God is in control and that His timing is sovereign. I learn that my strength can only do so much and that God sustains us supernaturally.
🙏❤️🙏

Thank you!
