My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
It was a bad bad day! We went to the pediatrician’s office thinking that it was going to be a quick visit with an antibiotic treatment like for me and Elliot. But that quickly spiraled down to one hospital for a chest x-ray and abdomen ultrasound and then another hospital for the ER.
This was actually the first time that Elliot and Chris were able to meet up in the ER. Usually, we are there late at night or in the middle of the night. It was nice to have them meet us there and to accompany us back to the room.

How many more times stay in hospital. I hope she is controlled cycle vomiting 🤮! I send hug & wishes good early recovery.
Tell me about it!! It’s happening too frequently and quite honestly, wearing all of us out each time. But with God’s help, we are able to withstand and recover.

Yes, it’s about you. Always god help 🙏. Now you & kids better feel. All reports are normally. God bless you! Tack Care,My friend!
Amen!! God is so good to us and in the hospital we experience Him more powerfully and He gives us the assurance that He is in control in an out of control situation.
Thank you, Linda! It’s been quite a year, shocking and startling with all these new heart things coming up. Whew. But she’s a trooper and doing much better now.

I’m glad to hear that Esther – she (and all of you) deserve a break for a while. You are juggling many balls in the air.
