Thank you Martha for hosting this Friday’s RDP challenge! Have a great weekend to you and to my wonderful readers.
My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Thank you Martha for hosting this Friday’s RDP challenge! Have a great weekend to you and to my wonderful readers.

Super cute 🥰
Thank you!
So smart & Cute looking little Elliot old pic.
Wow the years fly by don’t they! Our children grow up in the blink of an eye it seems! 🙂
They do!!!
What a sweet little face. I love the heart patches/appliques.
Thank you! Kids’ clothes have those cute patches. Sometimes I wish some kids’ clothing would come in adult sizes.
You’re welcome, Esther!
Ellis does look very shy here – seven years ago already. I like the heart patches!
She was not keen on going to classes, Usually I sat with her and Elliot through many of their classes or volunteered to help in the class to stay with them, but this time I decided to get some coffee. Nope!
I also stayed in some of their classes in vigilance of kids coughing or with runny roses. lol
Good idea to stay to monitor coughing and runny noses … the “cough in the crook of your elbow” is something a lot of kids were never taught apparently. I’ve been in the store and some kid is coughing loudly and turns in my direction and keeps coughing – mom doesn’t correct him.
Oh my, we run for the hills when we hear coughing like that. As we head into the autumn season, let’s stay healthy!!
Yes, in another six weeks, I know I’ll be thinking about COVID and Flu shots in anticipation of colder weather and ramped-up illnesses.
Oh yes, must get those shots!!
Yes, we have a resurgence of COVID here in Michigan and also there is across the U.S. according to what I’ve read.
Oh yikes! I can’t believe that Covid is still a thing. Geesh. when will it end? We must schedule a flu shop appointment for the whole family soon.
Yes, as a matter of fact, it has been trending on Twitter/X most of this week. I still stay masked up … I know I worry too much and now is different than in the beginning with no shots, but I still am careful. Another consideration of living alone.
We all need a bit of support at times and mothers provide it best of all. 😊
It’s a privilege to be able to provide that kind of support!! I thank God for it everyday.
