Kids and I took a relaxing stroll outside this afternoon: Ellis on stroller smelling her blankie and Elliot walking next to me. Usually there’s a bit of chatter and running around, but today was time to slow down.
The afternoon breeze and seeing the last bit of richly hued leaves were delightful. December is almost over, yet glimpses of autumn are still visible.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Fresh air will do them both some good. May your family have a calm and healthy new year.

And me some good too!! Fresh air is just out the door, it’s free, and always available.
You have a great new year too and hope your foot is feeling better.
