Ellis looks so tiny in the first picture, especially since we recently saw her in her red t-shirt and I remarked about her growth spurt. These are great pics of the three of you – each one is better than the last. 🙂 Treasure these moments as the kids are growing up so quickly.

These pics are from various years. It shocks me too how quickly they grow.
On hard days, I try to remember that these days are short and soon they’ll leave the nest. Parenting is a tough lesson in letting go and embracing life with all its up and downs. Ack! Hard but rewarding too.

You take the hard knocks along the way, then they fly the coop. Seems a little unfair doesn’t it? But you reap the rewards when you have times like you have in these photos – the good times erase any bad times pretty quickly.
