My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
I wish, girl! It’s a resort in San Diego: Marbrissa. It was our first time there and lovely grounds. You could even walk into Legoland after a short walk from the resort into the middle of the park.

Just hanging out, right?
Hahaha… yes! And one way to not flip over. That hammock was a tricky one.
Sweet!
Silly and funny!
The boy finds even better way to lie underneath the hammock 😛
That’s after he flipped over on the hammock. Instead of getting up, he just laid there. Lol.
Well smart 😛
I guess so…
Oh my goodness! I love this! Creativity at its best!
Lol, kids never cease to amaze us! Thank you. I’ll let Elliot know.
Children can always think outside the box to have fun.
They sure do! Sometimes you just gotta give them the opportunity to mess around and find something to do.
What a beautiful space! Is that your backyard?
