Oh my gosh, we are finally going home this afternoon. Ellis got a potassium infusion, ekg, consult with heart team, and we’re waiting for discharge papers.
Cyclic vomiting is a beast to deal with, and the days seem so long with all the retching and vomiting. But thank the Lord that that is behind us and we can sleep comfortably at home and undisturbed.
I wish I had updated earlier since several people have texted me asking about discharge. Thank you for the concerned texts and all your encouragements.
Since my sleep had been erratic this week, my head felt like a floating ๐ while helping Ellis to the bathroom with her iv pole, talking with doctors and nurses, etc. I’m going to collapse into bed tonight, relieved to be home and reassured that the whole family is together.
You all are special to me, and I appreciate every comment, visit, and like!! Blogging is like my virtual support community of friends.
Have a great start to the weekend and stay well. Esther

A big smile today!

Thank you!! Amen. God is so good!!
The big smile says it all – you are also wearing a big smile, even if we can’t see it.
Ellis was much stronger on the last day and willing to take a walk to the playground. I still had the wheelchair with me, because she kept tripping. But she was ecstatic to be nausea free and to be out of the room.
At first I thought it was an old picture but then realized that, she was freed from the room and happy to be out in the sunshine.
Glad youโre back home! ๐ฅฐ
Thank you! We are all so glad and relieved to be home. It was a hectic and crazy week.
