My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Very cute with the pineapple on top. I wonder how long it takes to make a full-sized pineapple and before another one starts “budding” (for lack of a better word).
Yes, the tops of the leaves are brown. I think itās too dry here and the plant needs more humidity. I think Iāll try moving it into the bathroom. Maybe the shower steam will help it.
That might help with the brown leaves. Do you think it needs vitamins/ fertilizer? I sometimes clean egg shells, dry them, and crush them into crumbs in a ziplock bag (pounding on it with a kitchen hammer. Sprinkle some on the soil and that seems to help my plants. Maybe?

They are delicious and good for hot days and when you get indigestion…

I couldn’t believe what I saw! Aren’t they so cute?
I don’t know how long it would take. Maybe I should get one to experiment.
Yes, a good science experiment! They are cute – minis of the real deal. I’ll bet they are sweet.
For sure! That’s how homeschoolers think.
I haven’t gotten one yet.
I have one of those⦠Iām trying not to kill it!! š
Oh, you have one of these plants! I hope it grows to a size where you can eat the pineapple. Good luck…

Iāll try that too! Thanks for the tip! Iāve never tried that before.
Another method is to water plant with the water that eggs are boiled in. Banana water is good too…banana peels soaked in water.
I hope they work!!
